Announcing a PhD Position in collaboration with Airfield Estate

Airfield Estate is thrilled to partner with TUD to offer a unique PhD position focusing on the vital role of social dimensions such as place, cultural heritage, and community in enhancing circular and regenerative approaches within cultural enterprises. This project aims to explore how these elements contribute to sustainable practices and the overall impact on cultural enterprises.

The successful applicant will collaborate with Airfield Estate, a 38-acre working farm in Dublin renowned as a sustainable food hub with over 230,000 visitors in 2023. The candidate will spend three months in their second year working directly with Airfield Estate studying the intersection of cultural heritage, community and sustainability.
