Allow us to reintroduce our Farmer’s Market

On Fridays and Saturdays from 9 am to 2:30 pm, the wonderful world of Airfield grows to include our weekly Farmers Market. A perfect way to spend a summer’s morning, we have a collection of vendors between whom you and your family can craft a perfect summer picnic to bring with you into the grounds of Airfield Estate for the afternoon. Our upper paddock has a few picnic tables and would be the perfect spot to bring your market treats.
On Fridays, you can find all our usual vendors, plus Kilmore Seafresh slinging fresh seafood. Based in Wexford, the family-run business brings a selection of fresh fish and shellfish to the Farmers Market ahead of the weekends. If you’re more in the mood for meat, Joe The Butcher always has plenty of options for an extra special weekend dinner. You’ll also find grass-fed lamb available from Wicklow-based Kilmullen Farm. Goode Seasonal Produce is also on-site with all sorts of fresh local produce, including summer strawberries for at least a while longer. If it’s something more pickled or preserved you’ve got in mind, Lilliput Stores are there with olives, spreads, nuts, and even some cheeses and charcuterie. To accompany it, Hibernia Food Market has loaves of bread and you can find oils, vinegars, and more condiments with them and also with Sarah’s Natural Kitchen. Sarah also always has plenty of sweet treats available along with coffees and teas to sip while you wander the market.
If it’s a little more to nibble on than bits and bobs you’re after, Overends Kitchen is open and serving Airfield salads, sandwiches, and specials featuring our farm’s freshest picks.
