We are delighted to bring back the popular nighttime Bat Walk Series!
Join us on select dates in 2025 where we’ll uncover the secrets of the night as you come along with us for a captivating Bat Walk. Designed for adults and families with children aged 8+. These events promise an evening of wonder and exploration perfect for families and nature enthusiasts!
What’s in Store:
- The bat guide will meet you upon arrival & discuss the night ahead.
- Night time Exploration: Wrap up warm and venture into the world of bats under the sparkling night sky. Witness their graceful flight and learn about their nocturnal habits.
- Bat Detector Experience: Immerse yourself in a hands-on encounter with a bat detector. Gain insights into their unique sonar navigation, a skill crucial for their night time quests.
- We’ll be finishing our night with a fun bat quiz where you’ll be tested on your new knowledge of the incredible bats of Airfield Estate.
